Providing care for a wide variety of patients with diagnoses, ranging from venous insufficiency to breast cancer, A Wellness Place serves both men and women. Our Certified Fitters measure the circumferences and lengths of upper and lower extremities, chest, head, neck and abdomen to determine the best products to dispense based on the prescription from referring physicians. The position requires the ability to apply knowledge to make critical thinking decisions based on the needs of the patient. In addition, Certified Fitters educate patients about the product(s) dispensed, as well as how to don, doff, and care for the products. Lastly, the position requires administrative functions to support the transactions along with electronic medical record documentation, and serving as a team player who assists with daily operations and product inventory.

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
4. Must be proficient in the use of personal computer, word processing software such as Microsoft Office.
5. Compression Fitters must complete a Certificate of Training.
6. Current BLS card (CPR).
