Does this sound like your idea of a great job? If so, Kirby Risk has an opening for a Technical Sales Consultant- Process Automation Solutions to cover its Rockwell Automation Business in Indiana, Illinois, and NW Ohio.
What will I do as a Technical Sales Consultant for Process Automation Solutions?
- Be the single point of contact to drive and expand the Industrial Process Automation Business for all of Kirby Risk
- Sell business outcomes by establishing advisory relationships with Executives and Senior level leaders
- Create and execute an annual Process Solutions plan with strategy and objectives
- Lead the sales process in identifying Industrial Process Automation Solution opportunities, along with working with Regional Sales Managers and Regional Automation Managers to align the organization's teams.
- Understand and analyze the Process market, conditions, competitors, threats, and opportunities
- Plan and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews
- Develop Process Solutions competency plans for the organizaorganization'seams
- Escalates business issues, commercial and technical, with Rockwell and other vendor partners to improve both the distributor and customer experience
Want to know if you are a good fit? If so, you will meet the following criteria:- Engineering Degree or qualified engineering experience
- Understanding and knowledge of modern Process DCS. (Foxboro, Delta V, Baillie, Rockwell Automation PlantPAX)
- 5+ years of strategic sales and consulting experience
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid consultative selling experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal communication, customer contact skills, and the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization
- Advanced computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence leadership thinking
