Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 1 year related experience. Required skills: Design, develop, and implement technical solutions based on outlined business requirements using Java with spring boot, python, SQL and DB2 (1 yr); Apply Engineering Principles and concepts to solution designs to ensure effective and efficient operations using Github, CI/CD pipelines and Unit testing (Junit) (1 yr); Develop and support software applications using service-oriented architecture (Restful Services) and cloud (AWS) (1 yr); Experience with Agile development processes including Test Driven Development and Test Automation (1 yr); Experience with foundation of DevOps practices such as deploying infrastructure via Infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks and tools (1 yr); Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis (1 yr). 80% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 25% domestic travel required.
