GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented hands-on Creative Director with a passion for product and an exceptional eye for great design. The Creative Director will be responsible for creating artwork across a multitude of products and onto the packaging. This role synergizes creative with execution, driving projects through all phases, from concept, to mock up, to design reviews, to pre-production. The ideal candidate will have a mastery of composition, color, design, layout, and visual narrative, with a strong portfolio to prove it.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Develop and execute creative concepts, designs, and strategies to support brands.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure that creative work aligns with overall business objectives and goals.
  • Plan and manage creative requests from customers, create new designs from ideation to final production, and attend and prepare for customer meetings.
  • Collect necessary product samples, swatches and related materials for accurate color matching of mock ups and final production.
  • Manage and arrange mock up team members as needed for deadlines.
  • Create, manage, and maintain budget needed for area.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

BachelorĂ¢s or MasterĂ¢s Degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Design, Advertising or related field

Experience:

2-4 years of creative related experience preferred.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Can balance creative with business goals and work cross-functionally while maintaining quality and consistency across all output
  • Able to juggle multiple projects at once and appropriately prioritize and delegate while remaining accountable for the success of the team
  • A general enthusiasm of the creative process desired.
