Job Details
- Shifts Available: Days 8 hours MondayFriday 40 hours/week
- Work Location: Hybrid; Palo Alto CA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in realtime including medical history physical examinations diagnostic test results and treatment plans.
- Navigate and update electronic health records ensuring that all information is inputted correctly and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Input and update patient information prescription details and other relevant data into the healthcare system.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient encounters.
- Maintain organized and uptodate patient charts making it easier for healthcare providers to access relevant information during patient visits.
- Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and other members of the healthcare team ensuring that information is communicated effectively.
- Possess a strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately document and interpret healthcare professionals notes.
- Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of patient appointments ensuring that documentation is completed promptly without compromising accuracy.
- Provide training and orientation to new healthcare providers on the use of electronic health record systems and documentation procedures.
Requirements
Education Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor s Degree strongly preferred
