Come join the team that designs and builds marinas all over the West Coast! Bellingham Marine is seeking Full Time Welder/Structural Steel Fitter for its Southwest Division located in Dixon, CA. The hourly wage is $24 to $28 per hour depending upon your experience, which is supported by a structured training and progression program to recognize our talented, hard workers. The Role: Welder/ Structural Steel Fitter SUMMARY Lays out, fits, and welds steel and aluminum components to assemble structural forms such as triangle frames, rectangle frames, pile frames, columns, struts, and other building parts by performing the duties outlined below. Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug screening per our Company Drug Free Work Place Policy. Dependability for work schedule is crucial. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Direct and lead employees;
• Read drawings;
• Develops layout and tack parts;
• Calculates figures such as angles and areas;
• Interprets a variety of instructions in written, oral diagram or schedule form;
• Operates small hand tools such as grinders, drills, and band saws;
• Operates forklift;
• Set up and operate fabricating machines such as punch, shear, notcher, torch or drill
press; Positions, fits, and aligns tack parts;
• Designs and fabricates templates;
• Verifies product conformance using blueprints and other means;
• Makes repairs to products by dismantling, reshaping and reassembling; and
• Other duties as assigned.
Compensation: Hourly wage between $24.00 - $28.00 / hour dependent upon experience. Employees may receive Incentive Bonus Pay based on eligibility criteria.
