Job description
Position Title: Winder
Department: Winding Department
Reports To: Plant Supervisor
Overall Responsibility:
- Manufacturing coils ensuring that they conform to the specification
- Quality checking other winders coils.
Task and Responsibilities:
- Wind coils according to the design.
- Use proper winding practices.
- Responsibly pull and store conductors in there designated location.
Competencies Requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to braze, solder or MIG weld copper and aluminum.
- Must be able to lift 75lbs.
- Ability to use a square, tape measure, micrometer, wire gauge, hand and power tools.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and work packet.
- Positive self-motivated attitude.
