Global Talent Partners is pleased to work with an established practice with over 15 years' experience in Shelby County, Tennessee. The practice is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian who is motivated, eager and compassionate. You will practise advanced medicine alongside a cohesive team where you will be supported and encouraged.

Experience is preferred but new graduates looking to hit the ground running are encouraged to apply since this AAHA accredited multi-doctor practice nurtures a learning and mentorship culture.

You will have access to a mentorship program and be supported by highly skilled, tenured doctors as well as a supportive and highly dedicated team of staff. Excelling in providing compassionate and excellent veterinary care, this practice is well-equipped with modern equipment such as digital radiographs, laser therapy, dental radiographs, laparoscopic tools, spacious examination and consultation rooms, great surgical suite, and much more.

The collaborative, friendly and inclusive environment has created a solid loyal client base which you will benefit from by dealing with an array of exciting and varied medical and surgery cases.

With a schedule including 4 days a week with a rotating half day on Saturdays and no on-call hours, you will have an enviable work/life balance.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply - practice is keen to support your career and build upon your skills
• DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• DEA License (can be acquired upon hire)
• Active State License & USDA accreditation (can be acquired upon hire)
• Proficient surgical and general medicine experience
• A compassionate and energetic veterinarian
• A strong communicator who loves building rapport and long-lasting relationships with clients
• A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
