Medical Consultation Coordinator Portland, ME
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated medical Consultation Coordinator to join our medical group full time in Portland, ME. This will be a hybrid position with 1-2 weeks per month full time in the clinic then 3 days per week in person in the clinic, and 2 days per week working remotely from home the remaining weeks. The primary purpose of role is to on-board eligible patients into care. Ideally, we are looking for a people person, with sales experience, who is a team player with excellent communication skills.

Duties
-Provide newly scheduled patients with a phone consultation to obtain insight into their visit to prep the medical team, establish rapport, and determine likelihood to start
-On-board new patients into care by discussing / problem solving any scheduling concerns, reviewing payment options, completing online financing applications and processing credit applications
-Establish payment plans with patients, when necessary
-Provide patients with consent forms and provide high level summary of post-care instructions
-Follow-up with "near-starts" to schedule possible follow-up consultation
-Follow-up with cancels and no-shows to attempt to reschedule
-Serve as back-up to front desk and other positions, as needed
