How you'll contribute to the team :


As a Revit Technician, you will work under the direction of the Preconstruction Manager by using Revit software to model mechanical systems and produce drawings, assemblies, and bill of materials based on 2D plans and sketches. You will develop building information modeling (BIM) for coordination and fabrication based on architect/engineer models and review plans, details, schematics, and equipment shop drawings/manual to incorporate into Revit models. Your day-to-day will vary and may include coordinating with others regarding new and revised prints, collect field data and layouts using 3D laser scanning or robotic total station equipment, occasionally making job-site visits to verify existing conditions, and performing other job duties as assigned.


What you'll bring to the table :


Revit Technicians must have a solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. As a Revit Technician, you will have mechanical aptitude and the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. You should also enjoy working in a collaborative environment but have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well.


How you'll qualify :


The ideal Revit Technician will have at least an Associate's Degree in computer aided drafting or equivalent experience and training. Proficiency with Revit is a must, Navisworks experience is beneficial. You'll stand out as a Revit Technician if you have prior knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.


What to expect in the office :


Revit Technicians mainly work in our office and must therefore be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. You may occasionally lift products or materials up to 15lbs and must be willing/able to attend active construction job-site visits as needed.
