Engineers in the Astrodynamics group are integral throughout the entire program lifecycle. They are key contributors in the bid & proposal phase, providing inputs to overall constellation and mission design. They are directly responsible for determining the necessary capability of the satellite’s propulsion system. They oversee the orbital Concept-of-Operations (CONOP), designing trajectory and maneuvering profiles to meet key mission objectives. They follow programs from inception to on-orbit operations and through end-of-life disposal. As an Astrodynamics Engineer, you will be the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for the Astrodynamics subsystem for a given program, study, or proposal. In addition to execution of technical design, analysis, and operation, you may be responsible for project management activities to support programs, ensuring that high-quality work products are delivered on-time.
