Job description

Job Description

* Unpack equipment and visual damage inspection

* Unbox and install HW in the rack including PDUs, rail kits, servers, and network devices, according to Customer supplied rack elevation diagrams.

* Install power cables and power-on devices, according to Customer provided power cable map

* Apply device labels to the appropriate hardware.

* Label device power cables, PDUs, and power WHIPS per customer's power label schema

* Install all intra-rack network cables per Customer provided network cable map

* Apply cable labels on all intra-rack cables per Customer provided network cable label schema

* Record serial numbers, asset tags, etc. information into a spreadsheet

* Run test scripts on the hardware

* Perform QA/QC checklist

* Repackage rack and prepare for shipping
