CATEGORYTechnicians DIVISIONBMW of Manhattan, Inc. POSITIONC Technician DESCRIPTIONThe Service Technician diagnoses, repairs and maintains BMW vehicles in accordance with BMW Factory and BMW Center standards. This position promotes BMW standards for superior workmanship.

• Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with BMW Factory and BMW Center Standards
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.
• Examine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to Service Advisor.
• Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with BMW Factory and BMW Center Standards
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS• Ability to perform very basic service on vehicles, mount and balance tires; ability to perform wheel alignments on all vehicles

• All licenses required to perform repairs and New York State inspections must be up-to- date.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste.
• Meet all requirements of state and federal law dealing with automobile repair and consumer protection.
