Job description
Our client is hiring an Outside Sales Representative in Texas. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Technical Sales functions. This position requires a dedicated professional with a business mindset, a passion for building and nurturing relationships, and a willingness to travel extensively, including trips to Mexico, Texas, and Georgia. This is a 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, direct-hire opportunity.
Required Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Marketing, or Business
- 1 – 2+ years of experience in technical sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
General Requirements- Strong negotiation skills to navigate complex sales discussions and agreements
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation in a dynamic sales environment
- Strong business mindset and dedication to achieving sales targets
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to spend 12 months in Georgia for training
Preferred Requirements- Familiarity with masterbatch, colored pellets, and pigment dispersions
Essential Functions- Build and strengthen customer relationships
- Pitch the organization effectively to clients
- Diversify the client base
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while retaining existing clients
- Provide technical support to clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Engage in regular travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site visits
- Perform other tasks as assigned
