We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our legal team specializing in insurance defense matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong background in insurance defense litigation. Knowledge and experience in insurance defense matters will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting legal documents, preparing pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and conducting legal research.

- Review and analyze case files, medical records, and other relevant documentation to identify key information and ensure accuracy.

- Prepare and organize exhibits, trial notebooks, and other supporting materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

- Coordinate and schedule appointments, depositions, and meetings, ensuring all necessary parties are informed and prepared.

- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather information, schedule depositions, and request and provide necessary documentation.

- Observe and document depositions, hearings, and trials as required, ensuring accurate transcripts and records are maintained.

- Assist in the preparation of settlement agreements, demand letters, and other legal documents related to insurance defense matters.

- Maintain and update case management systems, databases, and files to ensure accurate and organized records are available for reference.

- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense and personal injury protection.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of three years of experience working as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense matters.

- Proficient in legal research, case management software, and other relevant technology platforms.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.

- Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving case requirements and changing priorities.
