Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor equipment to control flow rates, chemical feed rates, and water quality parameters in the water treatment process.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Collect water samples and perform laboratory tests to analyze water quality and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data for reporting and regulatory purposes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Grade IV Water Plant Operator.
- Proficient in water treatment processes and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for water quality and safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills in handling plant operations.
- Competent in emergency response procedures and protocols.
