JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager position will report under Business Architecture, CX & Product Solutions group within North America Finance Operations. Business Architecture & Product Solutions group supports various service areas within NA Finance and is focused to deliver upon the business transformation journey spanning process optimizations, customer journey & process workflow capability design & implementation, operating model design, and business performance reporting to achieve the financial and operational objectives. In addition, strategic planning and program management function for all strategic initiatives are owned by his group.
The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating, executing, and delivering business product solutions in various finance service areas supported by Business Architecture, CX & Product Solutions group. The candidate will work closely with IT vendor team to technically design, develop and implement required solutions.
Responsibilities - Act as a liaison between process teams and development team to understand new/existing solution enhancement needs and translate them into functional/technical needs.
- Lead technical design for innovative solutions/high-quality software solutions related to all aspects of finance operations.
- Oversee development and maintenance of new and existing product solutions deployed in various process/service areas.
- Collaborate with business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the project, especially around technical design, development, and testing phases.
- Develop efficient and effective coding practices/standards for the team to follow
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on full technology stack and product development life cycle
- Ensure quality assurance and testing protocols are implemented and adhered to
- Ensure that technical documentation is developed and maintained properly for all product solutions such as code comments, functional specifications, and/or user manuals
- Facilitate / collaborate with Chubb IT, MIS It team, MDM IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues
