Job description

Responsibilities:The Regional Director of Nursing provides nursing oversight to the nurses in the crisis, inpatient, and transition point programs within their assigned region. Responsible for coordinating with Medical Leadership to develop, review, and update medical protocols, policies, and clinical guidelines. Manages the nursing education program for all nursing staff in collaboration with the nurse education department. The Regional Director of Nursing assists in training Nursing Leadership positions and nursing staff to ensure that clinical operations are delivered in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
The Regional Director of Nursing will ensure that all facilities maintain their compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona Administrative Code, Arizona Department of Health Services/Department of Behavioral Health Services Provider Manual, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Policies and Procedures and clinical cost center budgets. The following are some of the specific function and duties that are required to be filled by this position in addition to those other duties as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

Requirements:
Associates Degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
1-3 years of Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
2 years of Leadership/supervisory experience strongly preferred
Salary: Starting at $135k/annually
