Job description
This Project Architect position offers an opportunity to take part in the development of innovative and design-focused projects with one of the best international design practices, taking on projects all across the globe. The Project Architect will be responsible for the design, documentation, and coordination of projects from concept through construction administration. This role requires excellent problem solving skills, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Position Overview: The Project Architect is responsible for the design, documentation, and coordination of projects from concept through construction administration. The Project Architect works with the Project Manager to help ensure the project scope, schedule, and budget are met. The Project Architect will provide technical guidance and support to other design staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create project documents including schematic design documents, construction documents, and other related documents
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is completed on-time and on-budget
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to other design team members
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the construction process
- Monitor construction progress and ensure documents are up-to-date
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the duration of the project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Extensive experience with Architectural design and Revit
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of project management, concept design, construction administration, interior design, schematic design, technology and sustainability, AutoCAD, construction documentation, and Sketchup (nice to have)
