Staff Accountant responsibilities: - Handling month-end activities and creating journal entries
- Preparing and loading transactions into the company ERP
- Performing GL and account reconciliation and analysis
- Coordinating with regions to get their financial results, combining, and consolidating
- Analyzing inventory, reconciling balance sheet, and creating reports
- Posting monthly accrual journal entries, fixed assets, and depreciation
- Verifying that sub-ledgers tie to the GL and that intercompany transactions are recorded accurately
Qualifications for Staff Accountant: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, required
- 1-3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant position
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Must hold a US Passport
- Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills
- Skilled in using various accounting software and experience in troubleshooting common accounting program problems
