Aerotek has openings for  Entry-level Medical Device Assemblers  with a renowned medical device manufacturing company in Arvada, CO. Experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply,  pay rate is based on experience !

In this role, you will be responsible for completing varied tasks to include assembly and/or packaging of medical devices, handling material, and/or operating manufacturing equipment.  This role currently works 10 hour shifts (Monday-Friday), there is mandatory and voluntary Saturday overtime as needed to meet production requirements.

Location: Arvada, CO

Shift: 1st shift: 6am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday) -  working 50 hours per week

Pay: $19-20/hr, depending on experience

Experience Level:  Entry Level

Description:

• Perform assembly of parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to instructions
• Read and interpret visual instructions to understand assembly requirements
• Performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of partially assembled or finished medical devices, first article inspections and processing of nonconforming products
• Work in a clean room environment and use proper personal protective equipment

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or relevant experience
• No production experience required - training is provided!
• Strong attention to detail
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts
• Ability to stand throughout 10 hour shifts
• Ability to reliably interpret written and visual work instructions
• Ability to work in a clean room environment (PPE required,  no makeup/ no nail polish/no acrylic nails)
• Attention to detail is of utmost importance due to the critical nature of our products, which are used in surgery operations.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a cleanroom environment, which requires wear of gowns and coverings like smocks, hairnets and gloves. In addition to that,  no makeup, nail polish, or fake nails are allowed . Piercings are acceptable as long as they can be covered by a hair net. You will be standing for the entirety of your shift .
