JOB MISSION: The Treasury Manager position is part of the Corporate Treasury function in Finance. The Treasury Manager will work with small Treasury team to maintain cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements. A successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate well with teams across the company.
The role reports to the Treasury Director and is based in Brighton Massachusetts.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Review the daily cash flow to ensure that proper liquidity is maintained.
- Prepare rolling monthly balance sheet and cash flow projections.
- Ensure global foreign currency strategy is implemented; Assist with managing foreign exchange exposure including trading of currencies to meet business needs
- Assist in management of global insurance programs, including insurance renewal and claims process.
- Review contracts and negotiate vendor terms in order to maximize cash flow
- Ensure compliance with terms of financing agreements.
- Manage, implement, and administrate bank systems and services; train internal business partners on bank system and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (across global, regional, and local subsidiaries), including finance, accounting, tax, and legal, to ensure effective treasury operations.
- Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by Treasurer or other department leaders
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- MBA, CFA, CTP or accounting qualifications are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Treasury management experience.
- Experience in cash management, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
- Experience in building and maintaining banking relationships.
- Experience with Foreign exchange hedging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment.
