As a Director of Corporate FP&A, you would lead a team to inform and empower premier financial leaders so they make the best possible decisions. We want you to focus your strong leadership and communication skills on interpreting data and communicating insights so the numbers come alive. You will join a dynamic team whose job is to work directly with finance leaders, both at Corporate and across the Disney businesses, by providing insight across the Company.
Responsibilities
Every single day is different! On any one day you might:
- Prepare dynamic messages for different audiences including corporate management, high-level executives, and the Board of Directors
- Partner with senior Corporate leaders to develop financial projections and assess strategies to achieve operational goals and deliver operating efficiencies
- Partner with segment finance teams to assess business support needs and provide insight into Corporate resource investments
- Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of senior Corporate leaders
- Develop a team focused on delivering best-in-class finance support and partnership

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, strategic planning, investment banking and/or corporate finance is preferred
- Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
- Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional “client service orientation”
- Charismatic, dynamic leader and effective manager, who leads by example and will mentor a team to meet high profile and dynamic objectives
- Must be an excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings
- Flexible, “special-projects” orientation coupled with solid multi-tasking abilities
- High energy level; strong work ethic

Required Education
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Finance, Business Administration or related field)
Preferred Education
The hiring range for this position in is $ 179,400 - $219,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
