Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a new Walmart & Sam's Club Omnichannel Account Manager to join our Sales team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing key grocery accounts and enhancing the customer experience. Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with retail partners, negotiate contracts, and drive sales growth. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic account plans that align with company objectives. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of tactical programs, monitor account performance, and contribute to reaching or exceeding sales goals.
A Day in the Life... • Coordinate annual omni channel (Ecommerce and Account specific Shopper) planning efforts and track trade investment effectiveness for Walmart & Sam's Club. Identify opportunities to build OSC business and achieve Customer objectives.
• Manage performance and monitor progress vs. plan relative to volumes, budgets, spending, and MBO's.
• Collaborates with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Operations, eCommerce team, to develop strategies and tactics.
• Analyzes sales, content, digital media, and broker performance and adjust plans appropriately.
• Accountable for financial management, including trade budgets, consumer budgets, media budgets, trade deductions, and product unsaleables.
• Coordinate and assist in the development of eCommerce activities within sales team and in conjunction with eCommerce team.
• Work with eCommerce team on content execution and creation, syndication of assets, catalog management, and search rating/reviews across area of responsibility.
• Work with team to incorporate eCommerce tactics and investments into retailer specific account plans.
• Keep content and retail data feeds current and upload enhanced content where applicable.
• Localize eCommerce strategy within channel as part of annual planning.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on order management with customer service team for all ecommerce orders
• New Item setup & tracking: uploading needs from Sales Ops.
• Own communication bridge between Brick & Mortar and E-Comm JBPs
• Push innovation for E-comm specific opportunities
• Key Account Plan, AOP/LRP co-ownership for ecommerce/shopper initiatives
• Work with Category Management and E-Comm Team to create best in class digital shelf
• Additionally, responsible for building and executing the Walmart annual Holiday Sauce program under the supervision of the Walmart Sales Team leader. This includes gathering needed analysis and building fact based presentations to present to Walmart buyers and replenishment teams as well as to internal teams for alignment.
• Supporting all Walmart and Sam's Club new item meetings and line reviews and owning the ecommerce shopper specific slides and proposals.
What We Are Looking For: • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, IRI and/or Nielsen, Forecasting and Financial tools
• 4+ years' experience in CPG or Retail industry, including roles in sales, customer development, analytics
• Prior experience in eCommerce or Omni-channel management preferred
• Strong understanding of Walmart's go to market strategy, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to develop and deliver fact-based presentations internally and externally
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in owning/meeting commercial targets
• Ability to forecast sales and manage trade investment
• Must have proven success building customer relationships and effectively communicating with a wide variety of leaders
• Must be able to provide clear leadership to a broad cross-functional business team to execute against business strategies. Strong track record of collaborating and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders, internal and external.
• Must be a strategic thinker that can balance data and insights with big picture thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage future trends and market insights and think creatively when building business plans and influencing the customer.
• Working knowledge of eCommerce retail basics, the consumer's path to purchase journey
Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
