Job description
We are now hiring an Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician for a manufacturing company in New Braunfels, TX. This position is starting ASAP! Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525.
- 1st shift Monday-Friday (Possible Overtime as needed)
- $30-$35/hr DOE
- MUST have a valid Driver's License and clear driving record.
- Please note, that travel requirements for this job are approximately 70%.
- This is for Industrial Refrigeration Equipment (HVAC)
Responsibilities for Service Technician:
- Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly.
- Educating the client on how to use and maintain Salof’s liquefaction plants.
- Perform maintenance and provide customer support.
- Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
- Order parts needed for repairs if needed.
- Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
Qualifications for Service Technician:
- Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot Liquefaction equipment including compressors.
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.
- Travel requirements for this job are above 80%.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.
- Working knowledge of the compressors and other Liquefaction equipment.
- Ability to work independently without much supervision.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces.
- driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to effectively manage time.
