Job description
Fairfield Beach Club in Fairfield, CT is looking for one sailing instructor to join our team. This is a seasonal position that starts after the public school year has ended in late June of 2024.
Instructors will teach beginner sailors water safety and the basics of sailing as well as returning sailors with 1-2 summers of previous instruction, who are looking to continue building their skills or to enjoy time on the water.
Instructors are responsible for maintaining the watercraft and the boat house in an orderly fashion.
Our age groups begin at 8 years old and go up to 14+.
Hours are generally 8AM – 4PM, Monday – Friday.
The club uses Optimists and Sunfish on the water as well as a powered tender to keep the groups safe.
