The Certified Caregiver provides supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services in a safe, friendly, and efficient manner to assisted living residents.

**$500.00 sign-on bonus (Part-Time)**

Shift Differential of $2.25 increase in hourly wage from M-F 6pm to 6am & Friday 6pm - Monday 6am**

Some of the main responsibilities:

• Greet all residents and visitors to the facility in a friendly, cheerful and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean personal appearance and wear the approved uniform as required.
• Provide safe non-medical care for residents within the Community.
• Is available to work on a rotating-standby basis for emergency calls.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Treat company assets and budgets responsibly.
• Work agreed upon schedule with minimal absences in accordance with the attendance policy.
• Perform routine tasks without close supervision.
• Put team success ahead of individual interests; contribute to teamwork by demonstrating a "will-do" attitude by working cooperatively with others, including other departments.
• See what needs to be done and accomplishes it, go beyond the basis requirements, and take an ownership attitude towards the facility.
• Be friendly and helpful with residents and keep a positive spirit and well-groomed personal appearance in representing the facility.
• Know the facility emergency procedures and perform in emergency drills.
• Assist with walking and light exercise.
• Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up.
• Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals.
• Make beds and change linens, as needed.
• Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Laundry, ironing, take out garbage.
• Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning).
• Engage in physical and mental exercises.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy, etc.).
• Maintain calendar and organize mail.
• Engage in activities (games, memory books).
• Provide companionship to the Residents.
• Record daily care notes.
• Report any significant client changes to their immediate supervisor.
• Demonstrate the Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provides all customers/audience with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health behaviors (the 6 Cs) each and every day

Qualifications:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Maricopa County food handlers card (Preferred)
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Preferred)
• Certified Care Giver Certificate (Required)
