About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity a Senior Data Analyst to join our Tailored Brands Enterprise Analytics team. As Sr Data Analyst you will lead our analytical initiatives supporting our Store and Real Estate operations. This role demands a profound comprehension of retail analytics, encompassing brick-and-mortar store data, in-store performance metrics, rental business insights, and more. Your advanced expertise in data analysis, strategic thinking, and communication will be pivotal in delivering insightful analytical outcomes that significantly drive business decisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and grow within the Retail Analytics domain.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Lead and oversee analytical projects under the direction of the Director, Field Analytics, delivering accurate and impactful insights.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate comprehensive reporting on store performance, staffing optimizations, and KPI impacts, identifying key drivers of successful store performance.
- Leverage a wide array of data sources including store, Point of Sale, customer, and real estate data to derive strategic insights, creating advanced visualizations that propel business growth.
- Focus on customer-centric analysis, utilizing TBI customer data and national consumer behavior data to identify and engage target customers.
- Implement and oversee a systematic test & learn approach to continuously enhance store performance metrics and strategies.
- Design, develop, and lead the maintenance of reports and dashboards. Identify critical metrics, create advanced reports, and proactively monitor data, streamlining resources and automating processes for efficiency.
- Articulate complex analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making at all levels.
- Collaborate with and guide Data Engineering teams to elevate data quality, standardize definitions, and improve tools and methodologies.
- Manage and prioritize a diverse range of projects, assessing impact on business and customers.
- Lead within the wider Analytics team to share insights, strategize, and instill best practices.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Analytics or 5+ years of experience in Analytics with a Master’s degree, demonstrating significant responsibility in initiating, leading, and presenting insights from analytics to cross-functional teams.
- 4+ years of experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail operations and consumer behavior.
- Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering.
- Master’s in business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Expertise in complex SQL queries and handling large datasets.
- Proficient in advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI) for creating detailed dashboards and insights.
- Experience in advanced analytics projects, applying methods like decision science, optimization, machine learning, and forecasting, and recognizing their potential value for stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of A/B testing processes, outcomes, and tools (e.g., APT, Qubit, Optimizely).
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of leading and bridging business, analytics, and data engineering teams.
- Demonstrated capability in delivering complex analytics projects, involving sophisticated methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of findings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to critically evaluate analyses, particularly in the presence of data inconsistencies.
- Ability to travel to our corporate office location to attend team meetings and events.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

The starting salary for this position is $92,800 – $154,600 and may increase to $193,300 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
