Job description

Winfield Street Coffee in Westport, CT is looking for a barista to join our strong team. We are located on 13 Post Road West. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, engaged and hospitality oriented.

Barista Position

Employment type: Full-time, Part-time available.

Are you passionate about coffee and customer service? 

Responsibilities:

• Experience in fast paced environments and cash register is sought after.
• Being reliable and on time 
• Being honest when mistakes or problem with arise with a guest or order.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs or preference.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers actively and professionally.

Qualifications

• Referenced working experience as a barista or cafe cashier.
• Desire for personal growth within the coffee industry.
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to be cross trained within the store or between other locations.

Some flexibility is needed.

Needs to have own transportation.

Schedule is mostly morning and lunch shifts.

Expected weekly hours: around 25-40 hours.

Must be able to stand on their feet for 6 hours. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
