Position Overview:

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will serve as the cornerstone of our sales force. In this pivotal role, you will be the initial point of contact for our real estate investor clients, assisting them in finding the optimal product to suit their needs. Your responsibilities will include guiding clients through the application process, ensuring they receive outstanding customer service and support. Collaborating closely with underwriting and management teams, you will structure loans to surpass both customer expectations and company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Conduct 10-30 phone meetings daily, utilizing warm leads provided on a consistent basis.
Execute thorough phone, email, or SMS follow-ups as necessary.
Identify client objectives and tailor loan products accordingly.
Originate commercial real estate loans, specializing in construction and fix-and-flip lending, with a monthly target of $5M in closed and funded loans.
Assess collateral properties to determine market value, condition, and associated risks.
Structure loan transactions, encompassing terms, interest rates, fees, and repayment schedules, in alignment with company policies and risk parameters.
Collaborate with borrowers, real estate investors, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information, address inquiries, and offer guidance throughout the loan process.
Maintain a high standard of customer service by proactively communicating with borrowers, providing regular updates on loan progress, and addressing concerns promptly.
Manage a pipeline of loan applications, ensuring timely follow-up and adherence to closing timelines, while meeting productivity metrics and KPIs.
Contribute to ongoing enhancements of loan origination processes, systems, and strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
2+ years of experience in mortgage lending or real estate.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
Demonstrated ability to excel in sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed lending targets while upholding quality standards.
Proficient in utilizing loan origination systems, CRMs, and relevant software.
Relevant certifications or licenses in real estate lending (e.g., NMLS) are advantageous.
