Supervises and delegates workload to maintenance personnel. Keeps equipment in the plant operating efficiently while controlling maintenance budget and spending.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulics.
- Troubleshoot and repair welders CNC machines overhead cranes blast machines conveyors and air compressors.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance tasks.
- Track and maintain maintenance records.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Directs and delegates workload to maintenance workers.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in pneumatics hydraulics electrical mechanics CNC and welding equipment.
- Three to five years experience in a supervisory role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional bending lifting twisting and stooping is required to perform duties.
