Job description

Sooner Veterinary Hospital is eager to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our team! We are a full service, multi-doctor hospital that proudly serves small animals in Norman, Oklahoma (located just a few miles from OU’s campus!)

Experience and scheduling:

This is a full-time role with flexible, Monday-Friday scheduling. There are no weekends, after hour, or emergency services required for this role. We’re open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates.

As an Associate DVM, you’ll collaborate with our 5 doctors, who have a wide range of experience. Currently, our DVM team is comprised of Oklahoma natives and OSU graduates. Our veterinarians have special interests in preventative medicine, client education, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, internal medicine, and more. We have a large support staff to accommodate our clients’ needs and typically schedule appointments every 30 minutes. Our most common surgeries are general surgery and dentistry. Extra consideration will be given to veterinarians who love dentistry and are willing to expand our surgery services (like offering exploratory/abdominal surgeries).
