Position Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of Belimed products while providing excellent service to customers.

You may have experience as a/an: Automotive Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Electronics Technician, Machinist’s Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Maintenance Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, etc.
Training is provided to all new technicians - two weeks of initial classroom training, 90 days of OJT and one week of advanced classroom instruction.This is a remote, home-based position traveling around the Lubbock and supporting the Dallas/Fort Worth area, covering within a 5-hour driving radius.
How you will impact Belimed and our clients
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions using test instruments
- Measures and adjusts digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment
- Installs, modifies and repairs Belimed and/or 3rd party equipment
- Manages customer base effectively; prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance (PM) workload with daily repairs
- Demonstrates correct usage and application of equipment to customers
- Conducts product in-service trainings as required
- Completes service reports, timesheets, expense reports and parts lists in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains an organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installations
- Monitors customer chemical orders, contract sales and renewals
- Promotes and maintains good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment
What you need to succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls
- Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls
- Experience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp probes and precision temperature and pressure calibration equipment
- Ability to perform piping of copper, brass and stainless steel piping
- Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics
- Moderate technical aptitude; general computer skills with the ability to communicate effectively via e-mail
- Ability to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted
- Ability to climb over and crawl under equipment
- Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as business need dictates
- Ability to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements in order to access customer sites
