Job description
Our client is seeking a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join a highly regarded and long-standing Behavioral Health program in Troy, NY. The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and join a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients. The ideal candidate would provide longevity and consistent continuing care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
● The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
● Join a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients.
● Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20 varies based on how many new patients vs follow up. Typically new patients are about 60 minute visits and follow ups are about 20 minutes.
● Experience treating an adult psychiatric patient population is preferred
● The ideal candidate would provide longevity. We are looking for providers who will stay for some time, offering consistent continuing care to our patients.
Schedule and Shift Details
● Join a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients. Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends; 1:7 weeknights. Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20 varies based on how many new patients vs follow up. Typically new patients are about 60 minute visits and follow ups are about 20 minutes.
