Job description

MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with a high degree of expertise in perinatal and neonatal health to join our team located in Dubuque, Iowa.

The NICU at MercyOne Dubuque began in 1971 and has provided care to over 11,000 babies since opening. Connected to the birth center, the NICU has state of the art equipment including a new wireless central monitoring system and dedicated respiratory staff. The NNP will have responsibilities in the NICU as well as the normal newborn nursery.

The schedule for this opportunity is 12-hour shifts with required call for 24/7 coverage with physician support to assist with time off.

A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a Level III or higher NICU is required. Certification as a NNP with a current licensure as an RN and ARNP in the state of Iowa is also required.
