The position:
Due to a pending retirement, we have an immediate opening for an Applications Engineering to serve our existing and prospective customers. The primary responsibility of this position is to understand the testing requirements of our customers, and work with field sales & engineering to quote the appropriate solution. This role acts as a liaison between the factory and the customer, from the initial customer contact with field sales, to the final project installation by the Field Service Engineer, providing expertise in the technical details of the equipment. Responsibilities include determining requirements, product selection, and preparing technical content and pricing for sales proposals for both standard and custom equipment. Position is family friendly – travel opportunities exist, but almost never required, and overtime is extremely rare.
