We are a leading big box off price retailer committed to providing incredible value and an exceptional customer experience. We offer a wide variety of products across various departments, and our stores are known for their friendly atmosphere and helpful associates. We currently have two locations with more planned to open this year.
About the Role:
As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Leading and motivating a team of associates: You will coach, develop, and provide feedback to associates, helping them achieve their individual goals and contribute to the store's success.
- Ensuring operational excellence: You will oversee key areas like inventory management, scheduling, cash handling, and customer service to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Driving sales and profitability: You will work with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, track performance metrics, and maximize profitability.
- Providing exceptional customer service: You will champion a customer-centric approach, resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining a safe and secure work environment: You will ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a big box environment with off price retailers like Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx, and Burlington.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and work under pressure.
- Passion for customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with your team pulling stock and merchandising our sales floor with attractive displays that help “turn” the merchandise!
