Job description
Oversees the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle. Oversees the development and enhancement of system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements. Ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support. Oversees the definition and identification of product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into the most complex Boeing products and services. Consults with enterprise senior leadership on complex product security technical recommendations, solutions, risks, and opportunities as applied to the security domain with consideration of impact or leverage across other critical engineering disciplines. Oversees coordination with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry at the most senior levels to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems. Defines complex research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions. Oversees the advisement of customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services.
General requirement
• Have the basic engineering knowledge appropriate to the designation being sought, as demonstrated by 8 years of progressively responsible engineering experience for which an engineering degree may be substituted for up to 4 years of maximum credit. An applicant who has not earned an engineering degree may substitute 40 credit hours of successfully completed course work in engineering or related curriculum for 1 year of experience, up to 4 years of maximum credit
• Three verifiable technical references are required.
• Possess interpersonal skills, including command of the English language both spoken and written.
Network Security
• Have 8 years of experience in aircraft system design.
• Have a working knowledge and experience (2 to 3 years) that includes the application or development of each of the following: * Safety analysis and Aircraft and System Functional Hazard Assessments * System Safety Assessments (Fault Tree Analysis/Dependence Diagrams)
Cybersecurity
• Have 8 years of experience in digital security system design and testing.
• Have current CISSP certification and CEH training
