Chef Andrew Carmellini and the front-of-house management team are seeking a dedicated and passionate Event Coordinator   to join them at   The William Vale!

The Event Coordinator is at the forefront of customer service, responsible for the management of all aspects of wedding, social, and corporate event coordination and service in accordance with company standards. This position also has a great deal of client interaction in advance of the event and on the day/days of the events, and directs the event from setup to breakdown. This position coordinates/executes all operational and logistical details between the Client and Food & Beverage and Catering & Events and other needed departments on property, i.e. Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Front Office and all necessary outside vendors (Audio/Visual, Technical Support, Production, etc.).

Ideal candidates possess:
  1. High school graduate or equivalent vocational training, some college preferred.
  2. Experience as an Events Coordinator/Producer, preferably in a fine dining restaurant group or high volume event production company.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a “client-first” attitude.
  4. Highly-developed knowledge of various food service styles.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English, multilingualism will be considered an asset. 
  6. Strong leadership skills, highly-developed organizational and multi-tasking abilities and sound administrative skills. 
  7. Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers.
  8. Excellent problem resolution skills and outstanding listening skills.
  9. Compute basic arithmetic. 
  10. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, based on the events calendar.
