Truck/Moffett Driver
We are seeking a full-time truck driver that m ust have experience combined with physical strength to succeed in this role. All drivers must have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Drivers must have a clean driving record and 1-2 years over the road hauling experience. Drivers will be delivering freight such as pallets and hardscapes equipment to job sites.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with dispatcher & team on planning your driving routes
- Time management - assist in yard if no deliveries are scheduled
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion
- Follow all applicable traffic laws
- Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road
- Inspect flatbed and moffett before and after the trip and report any issues found
- Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs
- Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
- Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order
- Ensure load is secured properly on truck
- Load and unload palletized material safely at job sites
- Flexible work hours
Requirements
- Must be 21+
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL
- Clean driving records
- Ability to follow GPS and use maps accurately
- Must possess a high degree of integrity and ability to work independently
- Minimum 1-2 years of flatbed hauling experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical
