Job description
SilverEdge is seeking a Program Control Analyst in Herndon, Virginia or Columbia, MD to support the planning, tracking, and analysis of various government customers and contract types. This position will provide direct support to the program management team driving program performance and risk mitigation. You will have great visibility in our organization, working directly with operating units & management as well as the core finance & accounting team functions.
Job Duties:
- Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning for assigned contracts.
- Support customer monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables.
- Work with program management team to define work breakdown structures to support the execution of assigned contracts.
- Support month end close including revenue and cost analysis / accuracy.
- Develop monthly and annual program forecast providing variance analysis and risk assessment
- Support development of 5-year annual operating plan
- Drive quarterly program management review schedule and data development
- Support new business activities including pricing, cost volume development, ROM development
- Support billing team to ensure accurate invoicing and support content.
- Support the reconciliation of timecards between SilverEdge’s and Primes timekeeping system.
- Support ad hoc requests.
- Bachelor’s degree - Preferred in accounting, finance, or business.
- 1-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in accounting or finance.
- Deltek Costpoint experience
- Prior experience in other accounting functions such as accounts receivable, general ledger, accounts payable, etc.
- Government contracting experience.
