Job description

Responsibilities include: - Provides quality nursing care to patients in the Imaging Department by assisting the patients, technologists and physicians as needed.
- Achieves adherence to infection control/standard precautions for the Imaging Department.
- Works under the general guidance of the nursing care policies and procedures of Northwest Health System.
- Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of nursing care techniques and how these relate to imaging patients.
Key Requirements include: - Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Arkansas in accordance with the Arkansas Nursing Board Practice Act
- Current BLS or acquired within 7 days. Current ACLS or acquired with in 30 days of employment
- Preferred: Three year of experience as a registered nurse in acute care setting, preferably in multiple areas
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program or BS in Nursing
