The Registration Staff plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient event registration processes. With our seven-day-a-week availability, Occasions Staffing Solutions is the go-to company for any staffing needs in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome event attendees, providing a friendly and professional demeanor
• Assist with event registration processes, including checking in attendees, distributing name badges, and providing event materials
• Accurately input attendee information into registration systems or databases
• Answer attendee inquiries and provide information about the event
• Handle cash and credit card transactions for registration fees, following established procedures
• Assist with managing event logistics, such as directing attendees to specific locations or coordinating with other event staff
• Collaborate with the event team to ensure a seamless and positive attendee experience
• Adhere to all event guidelines, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Prior experience in event registration or customer service roles is preferred
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for event attendees
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attendees, colleagues, and event organizers
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with registration systems or databases
• Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced event environment
