Job description

MUST HAVES:

• 2+ years of experience designing in tooling equipment (Candidate must be able to understand how to design, detail, and check tooling equipment such as welding fixtures, assembly systems, engine transmission, conveyor systems, material handling)
• Inventor Design experience (Candidate must be able to navigate Inventor working design, detail, check within 3D)
• Mechanical Aptitude (the candidate needs to understand how to utilize tools and how to work on a vehicle as it is important for them to be able to connect the dots on the work they are doing. (hobbies should include working on cars, drilling holes, working on motors)
• Microsoft Office experience (Candidate must be able to use Powerpoint for presentations, Excel for doing open issues list, sequence of operations, and using office for communication)
• Communication (Candidate will be working in a small team and they will need to be able to communicate where they stand with projects, ask for help if needed, and be able to effectively update the customer on issues)

Description:

DAY TO DAY:

Candidate will be working within in the Inventor design software to handle projects from design to concept phase. The candidate will be working on projects that are related to automation equipment such as welding fixtures, conveyor systems, material handling, assembly fixtures, transmissions, and engine assembly.

Candidate will be working on multiple projects at once and will be involved in different phases of the project. It will be common for the candidate to be working primarily just on design.

Candidate will be working on various projects such as Ford projects, tier 1 supplier projects. Some of the projects will be from reference others will be from scratch brand new programs.

HOURS:

Candidate will be working anywhere between 45-50 hours per week

TRAVEL:

5% would be local travel to see installs if need be
