Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of payroll experience and a mastery of Excel. As a Payroll Specialist at Black Cliffs Private Equity, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse set of companies. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage payroll for employees across multiple companies within the Black Cliffs Private Equity portfolio.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in each industry, including tax implications and reporting requirements for both W2 and 1099 employees.
Collaborate with accounting and human resources teams to gather and verify employee data, including timekeeping, benefits, and deductions.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
Build and analyze payroll reports using advanced Excel skills.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in payroll regulations.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in payroll processing or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
