This is a position that works a flexible schedule based on program operation hours, ideally Monday to Friday. The pay is $12 15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications such as DCF mandated 45 hours and industry credentials.  This position is onsite at our center located here in Winter Park, FL Orange County 

The Preschool Teacher Floater  plans and implements curriculum, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. Youll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children of all ages.

What Youll Do:  

Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based     on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards  
Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching  
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth  
Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement  
Responsible for the supervision of children and management of a well-ordered classroom environment that ensure safety, cleanliness, and wellbeing. 
Update bulletin boards with appropriate monthly theme, lesson plan overview, parent / student highlights, classroom newsletter, pertinent information.  
Label, organize, and keep track of childrens personal belongings. 
Participate in staff meetings, parent conference, and school functions. 

What We Need from You:  

High School Diploma and/or GED or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study  
FL DCF 45 hours required with a CDA preferably

Must clear a level II background check  
Some professional early childhood training/experience  
CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment 
Cheerful, enthusiastic, and engaging in the workplace 
Demonstrate empathy and patience in difficult situations 
Strong communication skills and technology use skills
