Position Overview

The position is responsible for providing care within the clinical, surgical and hospital setting for St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, CO on behalf of Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Center’s Trauma Team. St. Anthony’s is a Level 1 trauma center that services the West side of the Denver Metro area just outside the foothills of Colorado. The trauma team is made up of 5 primary Orthopedic trauma surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Providers, this position would make 7 APPs.

Essential Functions

Pay & Benefits Information

This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. The pay range for this position is $100k to $150k/annually, DOE.

Requirements:

Must have a flexible schedule for 13 to 24-hour shifts.

Education, Licensure and/or Experience Required

· Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (MUST have RN First Assist Certification)

· Active license in the State of Colorado to practice medicine required

· Active DEA license to prescribe.

· 2 years of previous experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required

· Strong clinical skills, ability to think and react quickly.

· Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to synthesize data to determine medical treatment plans.

· Ability to assess patient’s conditions in stressful environments, assist in life saving procedures and develop treatment plans.

· Effective communication skills to communicate with patients, teammates and other hospital providers and staff members to gather pertinent information regarding conditions and treatment and to create well organized, succinct, and clear information to supervising Physicians.
