PRIMARY FUNCTION :

Provides clerical support for the lending area and Member Resolutions department. Also assists as a Universal Associate when needed. Works toward the overall credit union goal of providing superior and quality service to members in a friendly, professional manner in person, by phone, and through all correspondence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Assists with clerical duties within the lending department (ex: Mortgage, Indirect Lending, and Business Lending).
  2. Responsible to assist with imaging lending documents as requested.
  3. Assists lending staff with setting up loan files.
  4. Assists with processing of adverse actions as requested.
  5. Assists and provides back-up with other operations within the Indirect Lending department.
  6. Assists and provides backup with other operations within the Member Resolutions department, including Insurance, Records, and Fraud.
  7. Understands and adheres to all security policies and procedures.
  8. Understands and adheres to all CFCU policies and procedures.
  9. Maintains strict confidentiality of all member information and records.
  10. Attends required training and department meetings as directed.
  11. Assists as a Universal Associate as needed by processing member transactions, including, but not limited to, deposits, loan payments, cashier's checks, transfers, check cashing, withdrawals, and bank-to-bank wires.
  12. Proofs and verifies transactions. Examines documents for endorsements and negotiability and detects and resolves discrepancies.
  13. Is alert and aware to help prevent fraudulent activity or errors that would result in a loss to the credit union.
  14. Performs other duties as requested.
