Job description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Manager to join our team of professionals. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing our commercial lines business and managing our wholesaler and MGA relationships. You must have excellent leadership and management skills to be successful in this role.
As a Commercial Lines Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize our commercial lines growth. You will manage our partnerships with wholesalers and MGAs, and provide leadership and guidance to our team of professionals.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales/production experience
- Minimum of 3 years of managing a sales team or production-oriented group
- Demonstrated being a leader who can motivate a sales team to meet and exceed the firms business goals
- Strong relationship builder who can cultivate business relationships with existing and new retail agents
- Prior experience in underwriting or business development for a carrier, MGA, or wholesaler is highly desired
- Must have experience with a retail agency distribution model.
- Competitive Base Salary: $100,000-$175,000 (DOE) + bonus on the total revenue generated by the Commercial Lines department
