Synopsys is hiring an IP Product Marketing Manager. The successful candidate is responsible for developing the resources, programs and processes to meet the financial plan for Synopsys IP product lines servicing Mobile, Automotive and Consumer/IoT markets. The candidate will oversee the definition of IP Portfolio capabilities, go-to-market strategies, overall Portfolio positioning, creation of internal and external collateral, and will work closely with the field organization, key customers, Product marketing, R&D and partners to identify and drive tactical and strategic business opportunities.
Responsibilities: - Business development/customer meetings
- Definition, alignment and promotion of products that will result in sustainable growth in the Mobile, Automotive, Consumer/IoT markets
- Creation of strategic and tactical marketing plans
- Generation of marketing requirements documents
- Influence product owners towards product roadmaps that fulfill market needs
- TAM/SAM analyses
- Sales channel communication and training
- Demand creation/promotional initiatives
- Promotion of IP Portfolio through participation in industry events such as panels, positioning articles, and seminars
- Working closely with sales, product marketing, technical marketing, engineering and application engineering teams to understand technology and position to strategic business growth in the target markets
Requirements: - BS EE with 8+ yrs relevant experience. MS EE (preferred) with 6+ yrs relevant experience. MBA is a positive.
- Energetic, results-driven individual
- Previous product marketing or technical marketing experience, preferably system level, ASIC or system on chip design
- Experience with Interface IP protocols, mixed signal, and semiconductor chip design
- Knowledge of Interface IP (such as Ethernet, MIPI, USB, PCIe) usage in Mobile, Automotive, Consumer and IoT market segments
- Experience with intellectual property licensing and business models
- Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with sales teams, key customers, and partners
- Strong organizational and program management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment
- Experience with strategic market analysis and product planning a plus
- Demonstrated marketing expertise in product positioning, value proposition articulation and creation of compelling collateral
- Track record of creative marketing programs and successfully launching new products
- Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $149,000 - $223,00. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
